Postal Discounts

First class presort is a discounted postal rate offered by the USPS for mail that is shipped in quantities of over 200 pieces. It requires us to barcode each piece and sort by zip code. This saves the USPS time and money which they pass along as a discount. Typically the $.60 first class mail piece will cost $.51 per piece. A savings of $.09 per piece.

Letter Size

Self-mailers and Booklets up to 6 x 10 ½
Over size postcards can go up to 6 1⁄8 x 11

1st class

• Up to 1 oz.:  $.73
• $.28 each additional oz. up to 3.5 oz
• Square envelopes or mailers:  additional charge of $.46

First class presort (minimum quantity 500 pieces)

• $.60 – $.63 up to 3.5 oz

Nonprofit (min quantity 200 pieces)

• $.22 – $.23 up to 3.5 oz

Standard (min quantity 200 pieces)

• $.38 – $.40 up to 3.5 oz

Postcards

• Minimum:  3 ½ x 5. Maximum:  4 1⁄4 x 6
• 1st class:  $.56
• 1st class presort:  $.46 – $.48
• Nonprofit:  $.22 – $.23
